The UL CURS is mounted on the external shell of the compressor and provides heat to minimize liquid refrigerant from collecting in the compressor oil. The heater is dual voltage and operates on either 120 or 240 volts and comes equipped with outdoor rated heat shrink tubing or molded vulcanization to protect the wiring connections.

Each heater comes equipped with 1000mm (39.3 inches) wiring leads including the ground wire. The heater is attached using a stainless-steel draw band clamp and the heater element is protected by a metal sleeve for abrasion resistance and enhanced grounding.
